Stranton Reading Challenge

At Stranton School we just love reading!  Be it works of fiction or non-fiction; biographies or auto-biographies; comics or magazines... we just cant get enough! The only difficulty is knowing just what books we should read.

Earlier this term, the staff at School, along with groups of children and having looked at lots of suggested reading lists, have created a 'Reading Challenge' - a series of books we think children in each year group should read before they move on to their next class. Children will have the opportunity to read these books in School, as well as borrowing them to take home and read. Upon completion of the whole challenge, children will have the opportunity to keep one to take home and share with their family.  We would really appreciate parents support with this challenge - we think it will really bring the enjoyment into children's reading as well as improving their ability no end.
